CHRISTINE ANN FOUNDATION
CHRISTINE ANN FOUNDATION
Our vision is to empower disadvantaged young people in Merseyside to achieve their dreams.
ABOUT US
In Merseyside 1 in 5 children currently live in poverty, 1 in 20 children under the age of 16 live with a disability and 22.3% of young people live in a family that is out of work compared to 14% nationally.
The Christine Ann Foundation has been established to distribute strategic grants and create a positive change in the lives of young people throughout Merseyside.
We believe that young people should have an equal opportunity to achieve their aspirations unburdened by social, financial, educational, or cultural barriers and constraints.
The Foundation is named after Christine Ann, a much-loved mother and friend. Christine passed away in 2007; however, her generosity and positive spirit even in the face adversity is still talked in her local area today.
These values are the driving force behind the Foundation’s desire to make a difference in the lives of young people in Merseyside.
